Empowering Ethnic Minority Women to Rise and Lift Others
Empowering Ethnic Minority Women to Rise and Lift Others
Adelphe is designed to uplift and support ethnic minority women on their journey to thrive. Many women feel disconnected, isolated, or overlooked, whether they’re adjusting to a new place or have lived in their community for some time. They may have big dreams—like growing a business, advancing their career, or simply feeling more at home—but struggle to find the support and visibility they need to take those steps.
Our BEGINNING
Established in January 2020, Adelphe is more than a support service—it’s an empowering sisterhood committed to holding women’s hands every step of the way, until they’re not only reaching their own goals but thriving and lifting others around them. Through hands-on coaching, mentorship, integration resources, networking, practical workshops, and a business directory, we empower women to gain confidence, make meaningful connections, and find visibility. Our support extends to every life stage, helping women navigate personal and professional challenges with confidence.
IN JANUARY 2020
Adelphe held its inaugural event — a vision board party that marked the beginning of our journey. This gathering brought together women from diverse backgrounds to envision and share their aspirations. This initial event symbolised our commitment to helping women visualize their potential and take tangible steps toward realizing their dreams, setting the stage for all Adelphe's future initiatives.
To empower women from ethnic minority backgrounds by providing tailored coaching, mentorship, and practical workshops that foster personal growth, professional success, and a strong sense of community, ensuring that every woman is seen, heard, and empowered.
To create a world where every woman, regardless of her background, has the confidence, skills, and support to thrive personally, professionally, and as an entrepreneur, contributing to a more inclusive and diverse society.
Women from ethnic minority backgrounds often face isolation, limited access to resources, and barriers to employment, entrepreneurship, and social connection. Adelphe bridges these gaps by empowering women to establish their place in the community, achieve their ambitions, and ultimately give back to others.
Adelphe is proud to contribute to Scotland’s vibrant and dynamic enterprise landscape by addressing key challenges faced by ethnic minority women and fostering inclusive growth. We focus on:
