Coaching

At Adelphe, we are committed to helping ethnic minority women in Edinburgh, Fife, West Lothian, and beyond thrive both professionally and personally. Our coaching services equip women with the confidence, tools, and strategies they need to navigate challenges, achieve their goals, and take control of their future.

Through personalised one-on-one coaching and engaging workshops, we provide practical support in areas such as embracing identity, managing finances, advancing careers, and building businesses. Communication is also at the heart of our coaching, helping women develop essential skills like public speaking, effective collaboration, and interpersonal communication. These skills are invaluable for career progression, workplace confidence, and building meaningful connections.

Whether preparing for a job interview, exploring a new career path, or striving for personal growth, our coaching is designed to empower women with the support and guidance they need to flourish in every area of life.

Mentoring

Our mentorship programme connects ethnic minority women with experienced professionals who understand their unique journeys. Mentors provide personalised guidance on career progression, personal growth, and business development, creating a pathway for women to overcome challenges and unlock opportunities. Through our Adelphe Talks series, we create space for inspiring conversations on topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, and social justice. These events bring together diverse voices to encourage empowerment, learning, and action.

Visibility

We are passionate about amplifying the voices and showcasing the achievements of ethnic minority women.

Through Market Days, we celebrate local entrepreneurs, providing a platform to showcase products and services to the wider community. Our Networking Events connect women with professionals, collaborators, and mentors, building relationships that support personal and professional growth.

Our Directory of Ethnic Minority Businesses and Professionals highlights and promotes the incredible talent within our communities, helping women gain visibility and access to opportunities.

We also create platforms for storytelling and thought leadership. The Adelphe Voice Podcast amplifies diverse voices, sharing experiences and insights, while Catalysts Magazine highlights inspiring stories, achievements, and ideas, offering a platform for representation and celebration.

At Adelphe, we are here to provide the support, resources, and connections needed for ethnic minority women to thrive, belong, and lead with confidence in Edinburgh, Fife, West Lothian, and beyond.

Integration

We help ethnic minority women adjust to life in Scotland by creating opportunities for connection, belonging, and support. Our Community Integration Hub offers workshops, social events, and networking opportunities designed to build meaningful relationships and navigate cultural transitions. Supporting well-being is at the heart of this pillar. We prioritise mental health through counselling, peer-led services, and signposting to trusted resources. A cornerstone of this effort is our Menopause Workshops and Talks, which provide a safe and welcoming space for women to share their experiences, gain expert advice, and find solidarity with others. These sessions address the physical, emotional, and social challenges of menopause, ensuring that no woman feels alone during this stage of life. Additionally, the Fife BAME Hub extends our support to New Scots, offering tailored services for individuals from African, Caribbean, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds, helping them feel more connected and supported.

Educational Workshops

At Adelphe, our educational workshops are designed to give you the skills and confidence to succeed in every aspect of life. We cover a variety of important topics, including identity, soft skills, and practical tools to help you flourish.

        •        Soft Skills: Developing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills is essential for success. Our workshops help you build these skills, enabling you to adapt, connect, and grow both personally and professionally.

        •        Career Development & Financial Literacy: Whether you’re looking to move forward in your career or get better at managing your finances, our practical workshops provide you with the tools and knowledge to achieve your goals.

These workshops aren’t just about learning; they’re about building confidence, connecting with others, and growing as part of a supportive community. Our sessions provide a safe and friendly space where you can ask questions, share your experiences, and gain valuable insights.
