Community Integration Hub

At Adelphe’s Community Integration Hub, we provide a welcoming space for Black and ethnic minorities in Edinburgh and West Lothian to come together, share experiences, and build meaningful connections.

Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for a while, our hub offers events, workshops, and resources to help you feel more integrated and supported. Through real-life stories, practical advice, and a sense of belonging, we’re here to make sure everyone feels at home in their community.

Mentorship

Our Mentorship Programme is at the heart of what we do at Adelphe. We pair individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds with experienced mentors who offer guidance, support, and encouragement. Whether you’re navigating career challenges, working on personal development, or just trying to find your way, our mentors are here to help you achieve your full potential. Connect with someone who understands your journey and can support you to thrive, both professionally and personally.

Educational Workshops

At Adelphe, our educational workshops are designed to give you the skills and confidence to succeed in every aspect of life. We cover a variety of important topics, including identity, soft skills, and practical tools to help you flourish.

        •        Identity & Belonging: Learn how to stay true to who you are whilst navigating new cultural and social environments. We help you embrace your identity and use it as a strength in your community and career.

        •        Soft Skills: Developing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills is essential for success. Our workshops help you build these skills, enabling you to adapt, connect, and grow both personally and professionally.

        •        Career Development & Financial Literacy: Whether you’re looking to move forward in your career or get better at managing your finances, our practical workshops provide you with the tools and knowledge to achieve your goals.

These workshops aren’t just about learning; they’re about building confidence, connecting with others, and growing as part of a supportive community. Our sessions provide a safe and friendly space where you can ask questions, share your experiences, and gain valuable insights.

Menopause Fireside Chats

Our Menopause Fireside Chats offer a safe, supportive environment for women to discuss their experiences with menopause. Led by experts and community members, these sessions provide valuable insights into managing the physical, emotional, and social changes associated with menopause. Whether you’re looking for guidance, solidarity, or practical advice, our fireside chats give you the opportunity to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.

Adelphe Talks

Adelphe Talks is our platform for inspiring, thought-provoking conversations on key issues that matter to our community. From racial justice and gender equality to leadership and entrepreneurship, we bring together diverse voices to spark change and empower individuals to make a difference. Join us for discussions that challenge assumptions, inspire action, and create a stronger, more inclusive society.

Mental Health Support

We know that mental health is a crucial part of your overall well-being, especially when you’re navigating new environments and life challenges. At Adelphe, our Mental Health Support services are here to help you manage stress, anxiety, and other difficulties. We provide access to resources, counselling, and peer support, and we’re dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health in minority communities. In addition to direct support, we offer signposting to trusted external services and organisations that can provide specialised help, ensuring that you get the right support when and where you need it most. Whether you’re looking for professional advice or simply need someone to talk to, we’re here to listen and guide you to the right place. Our aim is to create a safe, understanding environment where you can prioritise your mental health without judgement.
